Mémorial du Linge
search for an ancestor

The crash of the Great War left many scars on the ground, but also in people's minds, and particularly in soldiers' families.

The first to be affected are families who have lost a loved one, whether they are missing or buried in a military cemetery.

Today, many of you are asking us about the presence of one of your ancestors in nearby cemeteries, or looking for all the information you can find.

Our genealogical research specialist is developing a database for you, based on the Mémoire des Hommes website and cemetery registers. You will soon be able to consult this database directly for basic information:

  • Known or unknown soldier
  • Presence in a cemetery and which one
  • Information based on registration cards
  • etc ...

For more detailed information or questions, please write to us at We look forward to hearing from you.
