The LINGE memorial association is run entirely by volunteers, with 90% of its resources generated by the modest price of admission to the museum, little or no public subsidies and a few bookshop sales.

Gifts and bequests

We naturally appeal for donations to support our efforts to maintain the battlefield and keep the museum running smoothly. Around €50,000 is spent each year on renewing the collections and carrying out major work to bring the museum up to standard and modernize it, and there are still many projects in the pipeline.

You can therefore support us and benefit from the tax reductions provided for in articles 200 and 238 bis of the French General Tax Code:

• 66% of donations up to 20% of taxable income for individuals
• 60% of donations up to 5% of sales for companies

A receipt will be issued for tax purposes.

Donation or loan of objects

You can also support us by donating objects relating to the Great War, to keep alive the memory of places, events and, above all, the memory of the fighters from LINGE and the Hautes Vosges,

We are looking for :

• Photo albums, single photos or postcards
• Combatants' logbooks
• Correspondence
• Military papers
• Staff cards
• Paintings, sketches, drawings
• Regimental histories
• Logs and Operations
• Books
  (if families do not wish to donate these documents, the Memorial can digitize them)
• War memorabilia
• Kepis, uniforms, equipment
• Weapons

You will also receive a receipt for donations and a loan agreement for temporary use.
