Supporting the association of
Mémorial du Linge

The association of mémorial du LINGE operates solely with volunteers. 90% of its resources are generated by the low price of museum admissions, with little or no public subsidies and some bookstore sales.

Donations and bequests

We naturally rely on donations to support our work maintaining the battlefield and ensuring the smooth operation of the museum. Approximately €50,000 is allocated each year to renewing the collections and undertaking major renovations and modernization projects, and we have many more projects in the pipeline.

You can therefore support us and benefit from the tax reductions provided for in Articles 200 and 238 bis of the General Tax Code, namely:

• 66% of the donation amount, up to a limit of 20% of taxable income for individuals
• 60% of the donation amount, up to a limit of 5% of turnover for companies

A receipt will be issued to you as proof for tax purposes.

Donation or loan of items

You can also support us through donations of objects relating to the Great War in order to preserve intact the memory of the places, the events and above all that of the combatants du LINGE and the High Vosges,

We are looking for :

• Photo albums, single photos, or postcards
• Travel diaries of the fighters
• Matches
• Military papers
• Military Staff Maps
• Paintings, sketches, drawings
• Regiment histories
• March and Operations Logs
• Books
  (If families do not wish to donate these documents, the Memorial has the option of digitizing them)
• War objects and souvenirs
• Caps, uniforms, equipment
• Arms

Here too, a receipt will be sent to you for a donation and a loan agreement in the event of temporary provision.
