General Terms and Conditions of Sale – Online Ticketing of the Museum – LINGE Memorial

Preamble

These general terms and conditions of sale apply automatically and without restriction to all orders for electronic tickets (E-ticket and M-ticket) for admission to the Musée - Mémorial du LINGE, whose head office is located at 86 rue Charles de Gaulle, 68370 ORBEY, and which are placed online via the Regiondo platform at https://pro.regiondo.com/fr.

Terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.

The purchase of electronic tickets implies the customer's unreserved acceptance of these terms and conditions.

The customer declares that he/she has the capacity to accept the present terms and conditions of sale, i.e. that he/she is of legal age and not under guardianship or curatorship.

E-tickets or M-tickets must be presented to access the site.

Article 1 - Scope of tariffs

1.1 Online ticket purchases are reserved for individual or family visitors.

1.2 The maximum number of tickets that can be purchased online is 14 per order.

1.3 Groups of 15 or more paying guests or tourism professionals may reserve tickets by e-mail: contact@linge1915.eu

1.4 The online sales site www.linge1915.eu offers tickets for admission to the museum and the battlefield.

1.5 Once the order has been validated by the customer, the museum cannot retroactively apply discounts to the customer, particularly in the event of the absence of one or more people who have reserved their ticket. Therefore, once you have purchased your ticket online, you waive your right to any discount or free admission to which you may have been entitled.

1.7 As free admission is granted to people under 16, online booking is not compulsory. However, this free admission must be duly justified by the customer when checking tickets at the museum reception desk. If this is not the case, a supplement corresponding to the difference must be paid at the ticket office against receipt.

1.8 The applicable prices are those in force on the day of the order, and are indicated in euros net of tax. The museum reserves the right to modify the admission price at any time. Services will be invoiced on the basis of the rates in force at the time orders are registered.

1.9 In the event of partial closure of the tour, construction work or reduction in opening times, prices remain unchanged. No reduction or refund of tickets purchased online will be possible.

Article 2 - Availability of tickets

2.1 The Musée-Mémorial du LINGE offers a predefined number of tickets for sale on its website and reserves the right to increase or reduce the number of tickets offered for sale.

2.2 The ticket is sold for a day chosen by the customer. Tickets are purchased in real time. The customer is informed of ticket availability when the order is placed.

Article 3 - Ordering

All orders, whatever their origin, are payable in euros.

Customers purchase tickets online at www.linge1915.eu.

How to obtain tickets is described below:

3.1 Select the quantity of tickets you wish to purchase at the desired date and time, then add to basket.

3.2 The information required to process your file is: surname, first name, telephone number and e-mail address.

3.3 Check the order summary. The customer will have the option of modifying his or her selection or continuing with the purchase.

3.4 Read and accept the terms and conditions of sale by checking the box "I have read and accept the terms and conditions of sale".

Article 4 - Order validation

4.1 Confirm your order with the "Next step" button.

4.2 Make the payment by entering your contact details and confirm by clicking on "Confirm payment".

Ticket orders become final once payment has been accepted by the merchant processing center. Consequently, the order is considered irrevocable and cannot be called into question.

In the event of refusal by the payment center, the order is automatically cancelled.

4.3 Order confirmation e-mail.

4.4 For any cancellation request after the transaction has been validated, please refer to article 10 below.

Article 5 - Payment terms

5.1 Payment for tickets by the customer is made exclusively in euros. The customer may choose to pay for tickets by credit card. Accepted cards are : Visa, Mastercard.

5.2 Once the payment has been accepted by the merchant's processing center, the customer is redirected to a page indicating that the payment has been made. From this page, customers can download or edit their sales receipt and ticket(s).

In addition, the merchant processing center sends the transaction receipt by e-mail to the customer. This receipt includes the transaction number and amount, date, time and order reference.

In accordance with current banking regulations, a copy of this receipt will be kept for one year by the Musée des métiers du bois et du patrimoine.

5.3 If payment is refused by the bank, the customer is directed to a page indicating that payment has been refused. The order is then automatically cancelled.

Article 6 - Order confirmation

6.1. Ticket orders are only definitively confirmed and binding on the Musée-Mémorial du LINGE on receipt by the customer of the order confirmation e-mail.

We recommend that you keep this e-mail as proof of order. Under no circumstances can this document be used as a ticket to gain access to the museum.

In addition, orders and proof of payment are archived on a reliable and irreversible medium in such a way as to correspond to a faithful and durable copy, in accordance with article 1348 of the French Civil Code.

Article 7 - Obtaining tickets

7.1 Once payment for the order has been accepted, the customer will receive an e-mail attaching the e-tickets in PDF format.

7.2 The customer may either :

Print your E-Ticket on white A4 paper, without changing the print size.

Download your M-ticket onto your smartphone or tablet.

The customer must print or download all tickets received by e-mail (1 person = 1 ticket).

Under no circumstances may tickets be issued, printed or downloaded by the Musée-Mémorial du LINGE on the day of the visit.

Confirmation of order or payment does not constitute a ticket. Under no circumstances can these documents be used as a ticket to gain access to the museum.

Article 8 - Information on tickets

The ticket issued by the Musée -mémorial du LINGE online sales site includes the following elements:

The name and logo of the museum - Mémorial du LINGE

Name and surname of buyer

The type of rate applied

Sales price in euros

Validity date

Transaction number

The barcode

Article 9 - Conditions of use of tickets

9.1 - Partially or badly printed, damaged or illegible E-tickets will not be accepted and will be considered invalid.

Partially downloaded, damaged or illegible M-tickets will not be accepted and will be considered invalid.

9.2 Customers must present themselves at the Musée - Mémorial du LINGE reception desk with a pre-printed ticket or one displayed on a digital medium. All tickets are systematically checked by barcode scan.

9.3 Each ticket is valid for the date stated on it. The ticket will not be taken back but may be exchanged.

9.4 Visitors who have ordered free tickets for under-16s must present proof of their entitlement on site on the day of the visit. If they fail to do so, they will be charged a supplement corresponding to the difference, against receipt.

9.5 Each ticket is valid for the day specified on the order.

9.6 The first person to present the ticket is presumed to be the rightful bearer. Any other person presenting the ticket a second time will be refused access.

Article 10 - Cancellation and refund

10.1 Tickets cannot be returned or refunded except in the event of total site closure or cancellation by the Musée - Mémorial du LINGE.

10.2 In the event of cancellation or total closure of the museum by the Musée - Mémorial du LINGE, two options are available:

Or a refund of the ticket in question. In this case, you must submit a written request specifying the date on which you were unable to visit the museum, and enclose your ticket and a bank statement.

This request must be sent by e-mail to contact@linge1915.eu within 15 days of the date of the visit. No refunds will be made on site.

10.3 Insofar as possible, the Musée - Mémorial du LINGE undertakes to communicate exceptional closures on its website and also to buyers by sending an e-mail to the address given by the buyer at the time of purchase.

10.4 A ticket may not be resold at a price higher than its face value.

10.5 In accordance with article L 121-20-4 of the French Consumer Code, the sale of tickets for admission to a museum, considered as a leisure service, does not give rise to any right of withdrawal.

Article 12 - Payment security

The Musée - Mémorial du LINGE website is protected by a security system.

The customer's bank details are never transmitted unencrypted over the networks, so they are protected since only the payment authorization codes issued by the banks are kept.

Article 13 - Personal data

13.1 The information and personal data collected during the online purchase are necessary for commercial management with the Musée - Mémorial du LINGE, in order to carry out the following operations:

Statistical studies.

The data recorded are only intended for internal use at the Musée - Mémorial du LINGE and are not, under any circumstances, communicated to external establishments.

13.2 In accordance with the French Data Protection Act no. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as amended, you have the right to access, rectify and delete your personal data. You may thus request that information concerning you be rectified, updated or deleted.

13.3 In order to exercise your rights, you may send a written request to the Musée - Mémorial du LINGE, whose contact details are given in article 11, stating your surname, first name and address. Your request must be signed and accompanied by proof of identity. In the event of a breach of the regulations applicable to the protection of personal data, you have the right to appeal to the Commission Nationale Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL).

13.4 The Musée - Mémorial du LINGE uses cookies to improve the quality and ergonomics of its services.

Session cookies, necessary for online ordering, are destroyed as soon as you leave the site.

You can disable the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your web browser. Such a change may modify or prevent certain functionalities of the online sales site.

By using this website, you expressly consent to the processing of your personal data under the conditions and for the purposes described above.

Article 14 - Liability

14.1 You must check the ticket(s) and the online purchase confirmation at the time they are delivered or received in your e-mail inbox. You are solely responsible for the use of the tickets sold by you or any third party.

14.2 The Musée - Mémorial du LINGE may not be held liable if the non-performance or improper performance of its obligations under these terms and conditions of sale is attributable to an unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party or in the event of force majeure.

14.3 All visitors must comply with the museum and battlefield rules.

14.4 In the event of loss, theft or duplication of a ticket, the Musée - Mémorial du LINGE cannot be held liable under any circumstances.

14.5 The Musée - Mémorial du LINGE cannot guarantee that no errors will occur during the customer's use of the website. The website is accessible 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, subject to closure for maintenance, repair or in the event of force majeure.

The Musée - Mémorial du LINGE cannot be held responsible for any loss of data or damage suffered by the customer as a result of a failure to access the site or the Internet network when placing an order.

Furthermore, the Musée - Mémorial du LINGE cannot be held responsible for any malfunction linked to a problem of compatibility between the ticket delivery system and the customer's computer environment.

14.6 The website and all its component parts such as logos, images and content are the property of the Musée - Mémorial du LINGE. Any reproduction or use other than for personal and family use must be requested in advance and will be subject to the authorization of the Musée des métiers du bois et du patrimoine.

Article 15 - Law and disputes

Insofar as possible, the parties will attempt to settle their dispute amicably. Should this not be possible, the Strasbourg Administrative Court shall have sole jurisdiction.
